The card goes out.
As soon as your payment clears, the gift card goes out by email — straight to them with your personal note, or to you to print or forward when the moment is right. 3
Dave books the session.
They tell Dave a little about their dog and how to reach them, and he takes it from there — no payment, no pressure. The fine print, plainly
- The gift locks in the package exactly as it was when you bought it — even if pricing or packages change later, your recipient gets what you paid for.
- We ask that sessions be booked within 2 years of purchase. If life gets in the way, just reach out — Dave works these things out personally.
- You choose how it arrives: we can email the recipient the moment your payment clears, or send the card to you to print or hand over yourself.
- Your recipient's contact info is used only to deliver and schedule the gift. They will never be added to a mailing list because of a gift.
- Gift cards can be transferred to someone else in the recipient's household — just have them mention it when scheduling.

Every gifted session carries the same Great Image Guarantee as a booked one: if they don't find images they'd proudly hang on a wall, the session fee is refunded in full.
